Sustainable, certified organic, fair trade coffee, imported from Ometepe Island in Nicaragua to Salt Spring Island, BC. The coffee is grown on the side of a volcano under the shade of natural flora.
This superior coffee is marketed under the name "Ometepe Coffee" by a group of volunteers who then donate their profits to projects in Central America.
This is the most wonderful coffee we have ever tasted. We were cycling on Ometepe Island in 2015 when we met a representative from the O.G.I.F.A. while we were having a coffee at the farm. He let us know about the Salt Spring project, and we have been drinking Ometepe coffee ever since. It is excellent service, and we are proud to be part of the wonderful Humanitarian projects.
